How & why did you become a MAI Missionary?

Jean's first experience with MAI was while at Grace College. His team traveled to Japan with the Southern California Seahorses in 2005. His heart was drawn to soccer ministry, and God called him and his family to serve in Japan from 2010-2013. They helped Masa and Chie Yokota to establish the Seahorse Soccer International Club. Though this experience, God's call to long-term sports ministry became clear. After Jean joined the Chicago Eagles' Summer Academy trip to Brazil in 2013, he and Tasha felt led to join the ministry in Chicago.
