MAI Location: Chicago

Job Responsibility: Communications & Alumni Relations

I first tasted sports ministry in 2005 as a participant in the Chicago Eagles Summer Academy. I came back again in 2006 to join the student leadership team and attend the world cup trip to Germany. After graduating college, I joined part-time staff with MAI serving in the Chicago-land office assisting with Urban Ministries, camp relations and coaching. I stayed on with the Chicago office until 2009.

In 2012 I felt the Lord call me back to MAI to serve as the Camp Director for the Charlotte Eagles. I served a 6-month stint in Charlotte and while there, was engaged! I moved back to Chicago to plan a wedding... and re-join the Chicago office to assist in their Communications and Alumni Relations Department!

How & why did you become a MAI Missionary?

I fell in love with sports ministry during my first summer with the Eagles! Once I tasted it... I knew I'd be back again! In fact, my best friend deemed me an Eagles "Lifer" after spending one summer doing sports ministry together. Since 2005... she's been right! :)

I've loved every moment with MAI and have enjoyed growing as a mature woman of God and sports minister and feel privileged to give back to the community and program because of how much it's impacted me!
