International Tours: MAI uses international soccer ministry tours to reach the lost of this world with the message of salvation. Each year, MAI leads six to 10 soccer tours, comprised of over 100 youth and adult players, around the world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and competing against top amateur and professional clubs. The objectives of these tours are to share the gospel and to support local church growth and church planting efforts.
Team Competition: MAI owns three franchises of soccer teams that compete in the United Soccer League (USL) in the USA: Charlotte Eagles Second Division men’s professional team, Charlotte Lady Eagles W League women’s elite team and the Southern California Seahorses Premier Development League team. The purpose of these teams is to both share the gospel with other team players as well as to train players using a sports ministry curriculum. The Charlotte Eagles have consistently received the “Fair Play” awards of their league. |
