Team Competition

MAI owns three franchises of soccer teams that compete in the United Soccer League (USL) in the USA: Charlotte Eagles Second Division men’s professional team, Charlotte Lady Eagles W League women’s elite team and the Southern California Seahorses Premier Development League team. The purpose of these teams is to both share the gospel with other team players as well as to train players using a sports ministry curriculum. The Charlotte Eagles have consistently received the “Fair Play” awards of their league. Also, our Chicago ministry sponsors a men’s and a women’s collegiate team who play internationally and then train and compete with local clubs as a part of the Summer Academy.
